The Chicago Blackhawks on the 2nd leg of back to back in Vancouver after serving up a seven-piece in Edmonton, Alberta last night beating the Oilers ran right into a stumbling block vs the Canucks. The Hawks could not stop or even slow down the Canukleheads right-winger Jannik Hansen as he goes goal x 3 for a Hat Trick on the Indian Head.

Hansen started early scoring the only goal in frame one making it 1-0 Vancouver. Hawks winger Kris Vertseeg stays hot as he "lit the lamp" in the 2nd knotting the contest up at 1-1. Then it was Hansen going "Throw your Lid on Ice" for my Hat Trick.

Vancouver broke up the tie a little over five minutes to go in the 3rd on Hansen goal #2. The 'Nucks then get an insurance goal from Radim Vrbata making it 3-1 as Hansen goes empty-netter for his Hat Trick for a final score of 4-1 Canucks!

Hawks net minder Corey Crawford stopped 26 of 30 SOG as Canucks net minder Ryan Miller stopped 24 of 25 Hawks SOG. The Indian Head was just 1 for 4 on the power play and falls to 12-8-1 in 2014-15. The 'Nucks move to 14-6-1 with 29 points in the Pacific for 2nd place behind the Might Ducks of Anaheim.

The Hawks get the Avs in Denver on Hump Day right before Thanksgiving at 8pm ET for game #4 on the Circus Trip 2K14. Hawks 2-1 on the trip thus far...
