It was going down at Sleep Train Arena as the night was not billed the New Orleans Pelicans vs Sacramento Kings but even bigger than that as the "Future is Here" was on display. That "Future" didn't disappoint as the Pelicans Anthony Davis and the Kings DeMarcus Cousins.

The Kings led at the break 54-45 with the Kings with Jason Thompson (12 pts), Darren Collison
(11 pts), and Rudy Gay (10 pts) leading the way. That 2nd half the Pelicans get on their horse outs coring the Kings 31-15 as Davis and sharp-shooter Ryan Anderson accounted for 19 of the Pelicans 31 points in the frame.

The Kings in the 4th made it a game down 76-69 after three then going on a 33-24 run making it 100-96 Pelicans with just over a minute to go. Cousins scores seven of his 24 points late in the 4th but it was too much former King REKEhavoc Evans who ended with 18 points including 100 of that 18 in winning time.

The Pelicans go onto win the game 106-100 improving to 6-4. The Kings fall to 605 and the future is also the Pelicans and Kings in the west.

Davis ended the night with a game-high 28 points , nine boards, and three blocks. Ryan Anderson joined Davis with 22 points,  The "Boogie Man" Cousins of Team Cow Bells led Sac Town with 24 points and seventeen boards with Gay and Thompson adding 15 points each.
