The Dallas Mavericks gets a game-high 30 points from combo guard Monta Ellis dba "Mississippi Lightning" and four of five starters in double figures to beat the Toronto Raptors who only loss at home was to the Chicago Bulls.

The Mavs used a 48-43 halftime lead and a 71-64 3rd frame lead as they showed the makings of a contender down the stretch hanging on for a 106-102 win. The Raptors had their chances but losing DeMar DeRozan in the 3rd as he apparently went down with a reported groin strain. The Raptors got as close as three but could not get any closer.

Mavs Ellis had 30 points (15 in the 4th) with Chandler Parsons adding 16 points and seven boards. Tyson Chandler goes 10 pints and eleven boards with the Mavs G.O.A.T. @swish41 chipping in with 15 points and eight boards. Dallas wins despite getting out rebounded 55-37 and shooting just 15 of 22 from the stripe.

The Dinosaurs of #WeTheNorth Lore was led by Kyle Lowry's team-high 25 points and seven boards. Amir Johnson added 20 points ands nine boards with one of the best back courts coming off the bench Lou Williams (14 pts) and Greivis Vasquez (16 pts 6 asst) making plenty of noise off the bench for Toronto. Raptors stayed close by shooting 14 for 33 from the arc.

Mavs move to an impressive 12-5 with the raptors falling to 13-3 but the health of All-Star 2G DeMar DeRozan is weighing heavily on the minds of Toronto!
