Many MLB Analysts didn't go against him and if you were in Sin City you wouldn't have taken House Money to go against as well. Chicago Cubs RHP Jake Arrieta not only in a Zone as they may need to send him to "Area 51" near Vegas for testing as he may not be an Earthling but more like an Avenger you know Iron Man!
Arrieta goes complete job as he came right at Pittsburgh Pirates Hitters all game long scattering just four hits and striking out eleven looking and pitching like the 2K15 NL Cy Young Award Winner. The Cubbies jumped on Pirates starter Gerrit Cole in the 1st with Kyle Schwarber going RBI single scoring Dexter Fowler after Fowler lead off the game with a Single then stole second.
Schwarber then came up in the 3rd with Fowler on a again and took Cole deep for a two-run blast and just like that #BUCtober in a #Blackout was blacked out down 3-0. Fowler for good measure told Schwarber ,"Anything you can do I can do better" and takes Cole deep in the 5th for a Solo Blast for a Cubs 4-0 lead.
Cole goes five and gives up all four runs and will see Fowler and Schwarber not taking shots well into the Holidays. Those two playing "Maddon Ball" Cape Crusaders went 5 for 7 with 4 RBI and four runs scored with two HRs. The rest of the Cubbies went 2 for 25...go figure.
The Cubbies get the Redbirds next but it is a travesty to see two teams with near 100 wins play in a one game playoff for a chance to play the only team to get to 100 wins. Meanwhile the Dodgers and Mets just won their divisions but was 4th and 5th in W-L on the Senior Circuit.
Great Season #BUCN even though #BUCtober lasted a few days. The 'Burgh still has my Steelers and that something to build on hopefully through the winter months...
