It is not the best brand of football to watch but for the most part they are rugged and takes the identity of their lead man "Riverboat" Ron Rivera as the Carolina Panthers moves to 6-0 after beating the Philadelphia Eagles 27-16. This is a week after they go back into three time zones and stunned the Seattle Seahawks in the last minute for a "W" out of the Motel!

Carolina won with a strong run game behind former "Quack Attack" Star RB Jonathan Stewart and QB Cam Newton of War Eagle U Football throwing three INTs. These new Panthers though have "D" led by those Backers in Luke Kuechly (Chestnut Hill U Mass Football) and Thomas Davis (#DawgSaturday Football) and to my point Cam's three INTs were covered.

Carolina was up just 14-10 at the break when they took the lid off the contest starting the 3rd frame with an 80-yard drive on seven plays. That made the score 21-10 as Team Chip Kelly came back in the 3rd with a TD Run by Ryan Mathews making it 21-17. The Eagles would not get any closer as Carolina would kick two FGs in the 4th for that 27-16 "W"!

Carolina moves to 6-0 as they stay ahead of the Rise Up Falcons in the "L" Column by one in the NFC South. The Eagles at 3-4 still leads the NFC East as that Division winner needs to be 8-8...really! Carolina might be the best in the NFC...and that is not taking a shot at Green Bay!

Note: The Eagles ran for 177 yards but passed for just 172 yards go figure...
