Well they say "Don't mess with Texas" and both of the Hardball Clubs are in the ALDS as the Houston Astros took the Bronx Zoom by storm on Tuesday Night. Behind six strong frames from Ace LHP Dallas Keuchel of "Woo Pig Sooie" Hardball and "Chicks dig the Long Ball" x 2 the 'Stros Show continues onto Kansas City for some tasty K.C. BBQ and the ALDS.
It was former Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays OF Colby Rasmus who got the scoring going by taking Yanks starter Masahiro Tanaka deep in the 2nd for a solo Bomb making it 1-0. Then in the 4th the Artist formerly known as Car-Go "Piwowarzy" Edition took Tanaka deep for another Solo blast making it 2-0 'Stros Show.
That was all that Dallas Keuchel needed as he allowed three hits through six striking out seven and walking one Yankees Hitter. Then it was that 'Stros Pen in order...Tony Sipp, Will Harris, and 'Stros Captain Save-A-Game Luke Gregorson slamming the door for save #1 in the post season for a 'Stros 3-0 victory.
Houston's "Pocket Avenger" in second Baseman Jose Altuve added some insurance in the 7th with an RBI single. Tanaka allowed two runs through five as the 'Stros put a run late on Dellin Betances who is usually lights out!
Houston now advances to the 2K15 ALDS taking on the #1 Squad on the Junior Circuit through 162 in the Kansas City Royals dba #BeRoyalKC in October.
