There were 24 strikeouts in this one as this Tilt was not for the "Faint at Heart"! New York Mets starter Jacob deGrom (13 K) and L.A. Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw (11 K) took us down K-Ville to forget what an Ash, Maple, or Bamboo Stick looked like.

It was Daniel Murphy of the Mets that broke up that party in K-Ville with a 4th inning solo Blast for a 1-0 New York Lead. Kershaw would then give up two more in the 7th on a David Wright two-RBI single pushing the lead to 3-0.  Clayton would go 6.2 IP allowing 3 runs on four hits as he walked four and struck out eleven.

The Dodgers got on the board in the 8th after deGrom left keeping his shutout and going seven. Adrian Gonzalez RBI single in the 8th cut the deficit to two at 3-1 Mets. It would be Amazins' Captain Save-A-Game Jeurys Familia closing the door in the 9th for a shocker as New York goes up 1-0 on Dodger Blue as deGrom > Kershaw on this night.

Now we get game 32 on Saturday with Noah Syndergaard going up against Zack Greinke as all the pressure will be on LAD...
