It was a Marc Gasol game-winner with .1 seconds remaining that spelled gloom and doom for the Houston Rockets an that is back to back losses for the Rockets. Houston leading after one and at the break 59-54 was in a solid position to get a much-needed win trying to stay on pace for the #3 seed in the west.

The Grizzlies had different ideas in the 3rd as they cut that five-point deficit at the end of the 3rd to a tie ball game at 79-79. The the Grizz came out firing in the 4th jumping out to a 89-79 lead on a 10-0 run. The Rockets with just over five minutes remaining fell behind by twelve at 96-84.

Red Nation turning into Clutch City then goes on a 16-4 run just inside the one-minute mark tying the game up at 100-100 on a Terrence Jones "J". Gasol then missed under 30 seconds only for James Harden to get his lay-up blocked with 6.5 seconds remaining setting up the game-winner for Gasol with .1 seconds remaining in the game.

Gasol led with a team-high 21 points adding seven boards and six assists. Mike Conley chipped in with 17 points with @macBO50 Zach Randolph with 15 points and eight boards. Memphis helped themselves by shooting 14 of 17 from the stripe and committing just 9 turnovers.

Terrence Jones led the Rockets with 21 points and grabbing nine boards with Harden adding 18 points and thirteen assists. J-Smoove came off the bench adding 16 points and eight boards as the Rockets were 11 of 28 from the arc but went to the line just five times.

Memphis moves to 43-17 while the Rockets fall to 41-20 with Memphis pushing their Southwest Division lead to 2.5 games over H-Town...
