The Houston Rockets beat the Miami Heat at the AA 305 ending a back to back Motel swing that saw the Rockets also beat the hapless Seventy-Sixers. Clutch City is 5-0 for the first time since the 1995-96 season in large part to a more efficient James Harden.

Harden the leader of that Red Nation attack is averaging just as many PPG as in 2013-14 but taking less shots. He is getting to the line more and more efficient from deep. Couple that those traits with the pick up of Wiz Kids D.C. free agent Trevor Ariza and a deep talented Reinforcements here comes the Kevin McHale Rockets. The Mavs and Spurs will largely have something to say about who wins the Southwest division as that Texas Triangle is back in the Logo as the Bermuda Triangle.

The Houston Texans at 4-5 needs to get a jump from somewhere as they reach back and put back-up QB Ryan the "Texarakana, Arkansas Cannon" Mallett as starting QB in NFL week 10. A journey for Mallett started back at Michigan (leaving when Rich Rodriguez too over for the Wolverines) coming out of High School and after one season back home to Woo Pig Sooie. Yes Mallett flourished under then "Air Petrino" (current Louisville Lead man Bobby Petrino) .

Mallett then was drafted by the New England Patriots and was under the tutelage of the Pats and Tom Brady. I think he is more than ready standing at 6-6 and close to 250 el bees with a Cannon-like arm. Offensive guru and current Texans lead man Bill O'Brien (was O-Coordinator for Pats a few years back) has to like what he sees in practice and now the Mallett Bulls on Parade Science Project gets it's first real and live test.
