The Golden State Warriors had made their mind up before this one that they were going into game 3 thus coming Sunday in Thunder Alley tied at 1-1. Yes they jumped out like O.K.C. thought they would earl;y as the Thunder held up and had "Dubs" right where they wanted (46-44 Dubs with 2:23 remaining 2nd qtr) them until late in the second frame.

That's when the Warriors closed the frame on an impressive 13-5 run that led to a 57-49 lead at imtermission that would soon be added to starting the 3rd. This is where O.K.C. from my vantage point told themselves we grabbed game 1 so let's give them this one and head back to Thunder Alley 1-1. To me that is completely the wrong approach as they might have woken up that Dubs Scoring Machine for the series.

G.S.W. then went on a 31-19 third quarter binge that put the game away as they led 88-68 after three. That 3rd was led by Chef Curry (17 pts in the 3rd including 13 straight at one point) as he had a team-high 28 points. He led four starters in double figures as Golden State had seven players reach double digits for the contest. Klay Thompson added 15 points with Harrison Barnes chipping in with 11.

That Warriors Bench outscored the Thunder Bench 50-29. G.S.W. also didn't foul as much like they did in game one and they controlled the glass just what lead man Kerr and his staff drew up for game 2.

The Thunder was led by the Easy Money Sniper's game-high 29 points but all that went for not. Russell Westbrook added 16 points and a dozen helpers but they get beat 118-91 by 27 points but a loss is a loss. Now they get "Dubs" back in O.K.C. where game 3 is the only game that matters in the series as you can't win all three Sunday Night and advance...
