The Chicago Cubs are living up to "Expectations" and if you ask them its playing one game at a team and one team at a tome not worrying about the grand scheme of things. After Chicago gets a 6-2 victory today at PNC Park against the home team the Pittsburgh Pirates they moves to an MLB leading 20-6.

Moving things further along as they play #MaddonBall in Wrigleyville the Cubbies outscored the Bucs some 20-5 in the series as Jon Lester (3-1) followed both Jason Hammel (4-0) and Jake Arrieta (6-0) and it all starts with starting pitching.

It was Cubbies second baseman Ben Zobrist who got things started today in the 3rd as he took Bucs starter Juan Nicasio "Yard" for a three-run blast making it 3-0. Javier Baez ground-rule two-bagger in the 5th scored Anthony Rizzo again as Cubs Nation favorite cereal struck again in the 7th with a Solo Blast making it 5-0 North Siders. The Bucs would get two back in the bottom half of the 7th as Matt Joyce with Andrew McCutchen on the base path took Cubs reliever Adam Warren deep for a two-run shot.

Chicago would tack on one more in the 9th as the finish the sweep on "Get Away Day" at PNC and will get the 18-8 Washington Nationals playing "Dusty Ball" for four straight at the "Friendly Confines" to finish the week...

'Burgh Hardball at 15-13 (2nd NL Central) will get the Redbirds in Baseball Town U.S.A. for a three-piece near the "Muddy" Mississippi...
