Just two days ago it was a forgone conclusion as the Chicago Cubs were moving on from then former CF Dexter Fowler as Fowler and the Baltimore Orioles apparently agreed on a $35 million P.O. for over 36 months of service. That deal would have strengthened the O's and put them maybe atop that 5-team division race in the AL East.

Now fast forward to 48 hours as the Chicago Cubs agree on a two-year deal (2nd year a Club Option $9 million) worth $8 million per season to bring back Fowler and just like that you have one happy team in Meza, Arizona absolutely loaded like a Lou Malnati's Chicago-Style Pizza Pie with al the fixins underneath the pizza sauce.

Fowler looks to be a go in CF with Jason Heyward, Jorge Soler, and Kyle Schwarber vying for the other two corner OF Slots. Signing Fowler was huge as the Cubs now have arguably one of the best up the middle players in the Show and playing "Maddon Ball" once again expectations are higher that the Sears Tower dba Willis Tower.

Checking D-Fowler's 2K15 Digits through 162:
