The Chicago Blackhawks knew slowing down that Dallas Stars 2-Pack of Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn would be the key. They also knew the Stars had to deal with the Hawks Stars in Captain Serious, the Bison City Blur #88, and Artemi Panarin among others and after the Zamboni left the ice the Hawks with that Indian Head Sweater throughout the A.A. 214 sent Dallas Ice Games a clear cut message, " Do you really want this in front of you in a 7-game series winner takes all"?

Chicago came out firing on all cylinders as Brooksie dba Defenseman Brent Seabrook started the scoring in the 1st frame with a goal on a power play just 34 seconds in. The Hawks then get a Trevor van Riemsdyk score late in the 4th and the Hawks would be up 2-0.

Dallas would score a minute and some change later and it would be Tyler Seguin with goal #28 on the season from of course Jamie Benn. The Indian Head then cut off the Water and Electricity on both of them to cruise to a 5-1 victory Marian Hossa (10) would score late in the 1st for a 3-1 Hawk lead. Both Artem Anisimov (18) and Patrick Kane (32) would score in the 2nd to put the game away for the Hawks.

The night also belonged to Hawks blue-paint tenant Corey Crawford who stopped 36 of 37 SOG to run his W-L to 31-12-2 as he puts his John Hancock in the running for the Vezina Trophy and that would be ice games #1 blue-paint tenant!

Chicago now moves to 76 points as the Stars stay put at 71 points as the Central once again looks like it will go through the Madhouse as well as the Western Conference...
