The score in East Lansing, Michigan was 14-0 after one and 21-0 at the break with Sparty looking to grab victory #5 in 2015 in a wash. The problem was the Purdue Boilermakers didn't get that "Memo" at the break and came out looking like that kid from Austin, TX Westlake H.S. by the name of Drew Brees was at QB.
Purdue scored in the 3rd the only score in that frame making it 21-7 Spartans. They scored again at the beginning of the 4th cutting it to 21-14. The Spartans got a little bit of breathing room with a FG making it 24-14. The Boilermakers than cut it to three at 24-21 as "Sparty" hung on late it what would have been deemed as a disaster in East Lansing!
Spartans RB LJ Scott continues his onslaught on opposing defenses racking up 146 yards on just 18 carries. His "Caddy" Madre London nearly ran for 100 yards capping his day at 97 on 17 carries as Purdue could not control the line of scrimmage all game long. Boilermakers RB Markell Jones had 157 yards on 22 carries and two scores as he kept Purdue in this one.
