The Chicago Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks and the Pen combines on a two-hitter versus the "Piwowarzy" for a 1-0 shutout "W". The Plot thickened though for Chicago Senior Circuit Outfit winning their 7th game in a row as the Pittsburgh Pirates lost on Saturday setting up this scenario.
Now with the Pirates having the best record as we go to press they will host the 1-game playoff this Wednesday as they must win on Sunday. If the Buccos lose and the Cubbies win the Cubbies will host that 1-game playoff at Wrigley and the Pirates want no part of that.
It will all come down to these games to decide who host that pivotal 1-game playoff as the winner gets the Redbirds for a best of seven-piece...
