The Notre Dame Fighting Irish if they win the 2015 ACC Tourney they have a real shot at at least a #2 seed. They came out on Thursday Night with a purpose at least in the first half blitzing the Miami Hurricanes for a 43-25 halftime lead.

In that lead the Irish was up 7-0 then 30-14 and ending the half on a 13-11 run as Miami tried to put something together before the break. The Fighting Irish though would led by 18 but had no idea that the 'Canes would make it a game as quickly as they did in the 2nd half.

The 'Canes behind Angel Rodriguez and Davon Reed goes on a 22-4 run all the way up to the eight minute mark tying the game at 47-47.  The Fighting Irish in that time made just four free throws and could not stop the bleeding.

To Notre Dame's credit they stayed the course finishing the game on a 23-16 run as the game was nip and tuck all the way up to the finish. The Irish finish with a 70-63 "W" as they had all five starters in double figures led by Steve Vasturia's 16 points. Those starters outscored the Miami starters 66-29 and that was your ball game. Rodriguez who gave the "U" a huge lift led the 'Canes with 15 points coming off the bench.

Now the Irish will get the Duke at 9pm ET on Friday Night with everything on the line talking Big Dance Seeds...
