The North Carolina Tar Heels played awful in the first ten minutes of their game vs the Louisville Cardinals. UNC had lead man Roy Williams throwing his Suit Jacket off right before a timeout as he go into Junior WF J.P. Tokoto. That "spark" from Coach Williams has an impact on the 'Heels as they close the half down just 37-32.

As for the 'Cards of the 'Ville they were making shots as UNC gave them transition buckets. The blueprint on ho to stop this 2014-15 Louisville Bunch is to slow them down and make them play half court execution hoops as UNC did not in the first 20 minutes.

The second half though was a different story as the game went back and forth all the way up the six minute mark where UNC started to make plays an force Louisville into the half court.  It was 58-57 UNC after Brice Johnson made a "J" for the 'Heels at the 6:44 mark.

Louisville down 60-57 at the five minute mark would be outscored the rest of the way 10-3 as UNC won all the "Scrums" and converted easy buckets in the paint. Johnson led UNC with 22 points and seven boards with Marcus Paige adding 13 points and five assists. The 'Heels 15 of 17 from the stripe was key.

The 'Cards get 20 points from PG Terry Rozier and 18 from senior Wayne Blackshear. All-American Candidate Montrezl Harrell chipped in with 14 points and a dozen boards. U of L was just 4 for 22 from deep and 12 of 20 from the stripe and those numbers do not bode well for a deep tourney run for Team Pitino!

UNC will get the Wahoos on Friday the 13th at 7pm ET...
