Nike Basketball was on the Marquee at the Toyota Center as two "Fight for Mo" (Maurice Podoloff Trophy for NBA M.V .P.) Candidates were on full display in H-Town on Sunday Afternoon. It had to go to extras to get a winner but both James Harden and LeBron James didn't disappoint as they led both of their teams in scoring on the day.

After a game full of "Scuffles" and "Scrums" (50/50 Spalding Oranges who wins?) the game came down to a 98-98 tie and the Cavs couldn't deliver missing four shots and getting three offensive boards in the last 51.9 seconds of regulation. James missed a lay-up as Thompson followed with two tip-ins that missed. The Cavs called time out with 23.1 second remaining as King James missed another "J" as we went to Overtime!

In the Extra Frame it was  Patrick Beverley and King James money balls coupled with a few free throw attempts that decided the outcome. With the score 104-103 Rockets James missed both of his free throw attempts with 4.2 seconds remaining. Harden then was fouled hitting  1 of 2 and the Cavs couldn't get off another shot with .4 remaining as Red Nation hits the phone booth and comes out Clutch City with a 105-103 win.

Harden led Houston with 33 points making 15 of 18 from the stripe. Terrence Jones adding 19 points and seven boards with Donatas Motiejunas chipping in with 16. The Rockets move to 41-18.

The Cavs get 37 points from King James as he grabbed eight boards as Kevin Love added 21 points as they combined to shoot 7 for 20 from the arc. James was going for it as he took some 35 FG attempts looking for his shot and his shot only trying to make a statement of who is the League M.V.P.. Cleveland falls to 37-24 as the NBA Central leaders toil in mediocrity play!
