Through numerous media outlets the Chicago Bears do what they needed to do and that is sure up that Bears "D". "Monster of the Midway" GM Ryan Pace lands a coveted OLB in Ravens Pernell   McPhee as BMore couldn't hold onto the 2014 back-up Backer as he was way too expensive. A contract rumored to be around $40 million with upwards of $16 million in guarantees.

McPhee in what would be his 5th season backed up both Purple Browns Pro-Bowlers T-Sizzle Suggs and Elvis Dumervil and had 7 1/2 Red Jersey Collections. On top of that at only 26 years of age and extremely quick in space for a man carrying just north of 280 el bees!

Now how will he fit in Bears new D-Coordinator Vic Fangio's 3-4 Scheme well here is that Bears 2015 Depth Chart with McPhee in it at Backer:

BEARS 2015 Linebacker Depth Chart

Fangio 3-4 w/Houston moving to LOLB

Starters

LOLB Lamarr Hosuton
LILB Jon Bostic
RILB Shea McClellin
ROLB Pernell McPhee

2nd Wave

LOLB/LILB Christian Jones
RILB/ROLB Khaseem Greene

Remember Houston was a big coup for the Bears in 2014 and he ended up on Injured Reserve. Jones from FSU can play all 4 Backer Slots and Greene has some talent with some rough edges. That "D" will be a lot better under Fangio with Fox behind him weighing in believe that ad "Believe in Monsters" Bears Nation!
