The Golden State Warriors and I know its just the 3rd of 82 under nee lead man Steve Kerr but they have something in that 82-game croc pot for sure. A night after beating up Kobe and the new Lake Show the Warriors hit the Rose Garden turned Moda Center in Rip City to entertain the Blazer Mania and the "only game in town" and the "Splash Brothers' of course did not disappoint.
The Warriors leading 51-48 at the break could not run away from the Blazers as they were deadlocked at 68 heading into the 4th. It came down to which team or which player would hit the shot or make the play to win the game and of course that player had on blue and gold.
With the score Blazers 90 GSW 89 it was Klay Thompson with 8.9 second remaining hitting a "J" to put the Warriors up front. "KLAYmetheus" is fresh off a 41-point night last night vs the Lakers at Planet Oracle in the Bay near the Black Hole!
Then the Blazers seemingly running on National Lampoon's "Vacation" turned the Spalding oranges over twice and missed a three-pointer that would have done nothing to the score as Steph Curry ices the game hitting four free throws down the stretch.
Klay led all scorers with 29 points with Curry adding 21 points and six helpers. The Brazilian Blur" Leandro Barbosa added 13 points off the bench.
The L-Train led the Blazers with a team-high 26 points and he grabbed a dozen oranges. That Blazers back court of Damian Lillard and Wes Matthews Jr. combined for 29 points and nine boards along with six helpers might be the Logo's 2nd best back court.
G.S.W. standing on firm Warriors Ground moves to 3-0 and the Blazers fall to 1-2...
