The Chicago Blackhawks are 2-4 in their last six games and now they have an even biggest issue they cannot get anyone to "Light the Lamp". The Winnipeg Jets come from nowhere on a quiet Sunday night at the Madhouse on Madison (Bears on a bye week...Bulls were off...Joe Maddon Cubs news conference on Monday) and blanks the Indian Head 1-0.

To make matters worse it was right off the puck drop in the 1st when ex-Hawks right winger Michael Frolik gets a rebound and wrists one by Hawks net minder Corey Crawford making it 1-0 Jets. Little did anyone know that would be the ball game and after 33 shots at Jets net minder Michael Hutchinson and 33 stops in the blue paint the Jets add to the Indian Head's misery.

Carwford stopped 26 of 27 shots for the Hawks but the new Jets are faster, younger, and heading north in the East standings in due time. Patrick Sharp led the Indian Head with seven shots as it will not get any easier for the Hawks as they get the "Habs" in the new Forum in Montreal on Tuesday November 4th.
