Let's cut right to the chase as the Nebraska/Wisconsin Big Ten tilt was billed as RB Ameer Abdullah vs RB Melvin Gordon. After all the snow cleared it as all about Mr. Gordon running out of the stadium to Milwaukee and back for some 408 yards on just 25 carries for a 16 yard per touch average. That my friends is past getting it done they should have called it the Wisconsin Relays!

Wisconsin down 17-3 early in the 2nd get this went on a 56-7 run with Gordon scoring three of his four TD's in the 3rd. What did the Badgers QB Joel Stave have to throw...just 7 for 11 for 46 yards and why throw when the run game ran up almost 600 yards (581 yds).

As for Huskers RB Abdullah not near 100% running with a bad knee had 69 yards on 18 carries. Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong Jr. threw for just 62 yards on 6 for 18. The Huskers fall to 8-2 and 4-2 in the Big Ten. The Badgers move to 8-2 and 5-1 in the Big Ten as they lead the Big Ten West and may get the Ohio State Buckeyes on the Big 10 Championship game.

Gordon passes the great LaDanian Tomlinson of the TCU Horned Frogs as he ran for 406 yards on the UTEP Miners back in 2000. I have a feeling Mr. Gordon will be in Chicago late April 2015 on the first night getting his name called he and Georgia's Todd Gurley.
