Former Kentucky and Big Blue Nation Standout Trey Lyles from Naptown leads the Utah Jazz past the Los Angeles Lakers in the Sin City NBA Summer League on Friday Night with 20 points. Lyles had a dozen before the break as Utah led 36-33 at the break.

The Lakers kept it close enough to be within striking distance but never took the lead. 2K15 Laker Gang Lottery Pick @Dloading dba D'Angelo Russell had a game-high 21 points on 10 of 20 from the field as Jordan Clarkson added a dozen playing the small forward. Tarik Black continued his inspired play with 16 points and ten boards with Julius Randle adding 11 points in 21 minutes. Lakers had all five starters in double figures.

Lyles gets Bryce Cotton and former Mavericks Draft Pick Jared Cunningham to add 15 points each to offset his team-high 20 as the Jazz shot 33 of 42 from the stripe. Jazz at 2-3 and the Lakers fall to 1-4 as the talent is right there.
