The Chicago White Sox might be on to something if they can get RHP Jeff Samardzija to join Chris Sale. Well on "Get Away Day" at the "Cell" of the Dan Ryan Expressway there was Fireworks and the Ex-Irish All-American WR Samardzija putting in work!
#29 goes in Chi-Sox Pinstriped black and white goes complete job scattering four hits. All he needed offensively was a run and Melky Cabrera's solo blast and a passed ball scoring Adam Eaton was plenty. The Sox take two of three and GM Rick Hahn has to be thinking hold the MLB Issued C-4 as we need to take a close look at this thing we call "South Side of the Chi Hardball"!
'Jays starter and "Knuckler" R.A. Dickey pitched well enough to keep his team in it as he goes seven strong giving up two runs on four hits. A a "Knuckler" sometimes that ball sometimes looks like a Frisbee as the one Cabrera hit was just that all you needed was sand and water and the dog!
South Siders move to 39-44 and here comes that vaunted .500 mark. The Blue Birds fall to 44-44 and that is disappointing as the AL East is clearly up for grabs heading into the Mid Summer's Classic!
