The Portland Trailblazers have moved on from centering their roster around the LaMarcus Aldridge Days as it appears that that was years ago. The Portland Trailblazers have done a nice job of putting pieces and for the most part young piece around All-Star PG Damian Lillard. Lillard just weeks ago signed a 5-year deal worth $120 million to stay with the Blazers and now the "Only Game in Town" is reloading with castoffs and undrafted players.

Through numerous media outlets the Blazers and GM Neil Olshey have signed Boston Celtics Castoff and "Bloodline" Phil Pressey the son of former Tulsa Golden Hurricanes Star and Milwaukee Bucks standout and current Lakers Assistant Paul Pressey. They have also added talented but undrafted PF Cliff Alexander from the Kansas Jayhawks as Alexander played with the Brooklyn Nets in the Las Vegas Summer League.

(Below Cliff Alexander as a 5-Star and Top 3 rated in Class of 2014 at Chicago, Illinois Curie H.S. as the Bluedude has seen him play on a number of occasions on the scholastic level)

Pressey was solid for the C's and should help the Blazers 2nd Unit along with C.J. McCollum as his High Basketball IQ as the Blazers lose both Steve Blake and Wes Matthews Jr.. Alexander could be the "Diamond in the Rough" as he joins Noah Vonleh a Hornets 2nd year Castoff, Meyers Leonard, Mason Plumlee, and Ed Davis as Davis is the oldest in that group at 26 years of age.

The "Only Game in Town" won't be in the upper echelon in the West but give it a year or two and Blazer Mania should be back in that Top 8 looking to do damage in "Winning Time"!
