The biggest move thus far in terms of the MLB Trade Deadline on Friday July 31st happened late last night into the early morning. The Colorado Rockies send their Star and Face of 5,280 feet above Ocean Water Hardball to the Toronto Blue Jays along with LaTroy Hawkins. The "Rox" in return gets Jose Reyes and three Pitching Prospects.

Now looking at the deal closer the 'Jays might have put themselves back into the running for the AL East. Just talking numbers here is what "Tulo" brings to the Dish as he is also a Leader in the Clubhouse:

"Tulo" 2015 #ROXNation Digits

87 Games .300 avg 12 HR 53 RBI 46 R 19 2B

Now what "Tulo" doesn't bring to the Blue Birds if those 16 Thefts as Reyes stealing bags is also a thing of the past your Dr. Seuss Mother Goose MLB Head! Now let's take a look at the Blue Birds Projected Line Up with "Tulo" in it and loaded like those '92-'93 World Champions Jays'...or nah!

#JaysNation Projected Line-Up with "Tulo"

SS "Tulo"
3B Donaldson
RF "Joey Bats"
DH Encarnacion
1B Smoak
C Martin
LF Carrera
CF Pillar
2B Goins

1-4 lookout as you will not find a better 1-4 in the "Show"...

Now as we go to press the Blue Birds are 50-50 good for 2nd place in the AL East seven games back of the Bombers! Looking at the AL Wild Card the Blue Birds are back just three games of the 52-46 Twinkies of Minnesota Hardball! Can the Blue Birds make a run at the Bombers if New York does or doesn't get Cole Hamels from the 'Phils!

Note: "Tulo" can rake with the best of them but for home games now he will be in the spacious Skydome dba Rogers Centre...
