The Purdue Boilermakers were on a mission as they feel as though they needed to at least get to this point to garner an At-Large Bid. They had the #6 Wisconsin Badgers on the ropes in the first half leading at the break 35-30 as the Badgers regrouped in the 2nd half and came out looking for a possible #1 seed in the Midwest.

Wisconsin then ties the game at 35-35 above the 17 minute mark only to take the lead for good on a Bronson Koenig money ball putting the Badgers up 38-35 right under the 17 minute mark. Wisconsin from there would go on a 33-16 run to close out Purdue winning going away by the score of 71-51.

Koenig led U-Dub Madison with 19 points (3-5 3pt FG) with both Nigel Hayes and Sam "Badgers and Dekker" each adding 15 points combining for fourteen boards. Every body's All-American 'Frank the Tank" Kaminsky added a dozen points. The Badgers had just three turnovers as that 2nd half might have got them back on track to get a #1 seed in the Midwest and get back to the Final 4.

The Boilermakers Center A.J. Hammons was the only Purdue player in double figures with 10 points.      The Boys from West Laffeyette, Indiana just didn't have the horses to roll with Wisconsin when the real Badgers showed up in the second half.

Now Wisconsin moves onto to Sundays Big 10 Championship Game facing either "Sparty" or the Fighting Turtles...
