The Chicago Bulls dodge what would have been loss #4 in a row as they needed an extra frame to get by the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers 104-95. With Joakim Noah out along with Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler the Bulls stayed afloat enough to hit the winner's circle as Aaron Brooks and Pau Gasol go for big nights.

Chicago had their moments where it looked like this one could define Coach Thibs Tenure as Bulls lead man losing this one and a microcosm of what has been going on behind the scenes. The Bulls and Sixers were tied at the break at 51-51 after "Fundamentals" Bloodline Mike Dunleavy Jr. hit a money ball from the center court line at the buzzer to end the 1st half.

That little bit of momentum was enough for the Bulls to go 21-12 in the 3rd frame only to see the feisty Sixers get back into the game in the 4th. The Bulls losing what appeared to be all the "Scrums" (50/50) Spalding oranges late and was not taking care of the glass. The Sixers didn't shoot it well from the line, the arc, or from the field but committed just 10 turnovers.

The Bulls committed 18 turnovers and let Philly grab 18 offensive boards. All those numbers the Bulls put up should have sent them to an "L" coming out of the motel but playing the 2014-15 Seventy-Sixers helped.

The Bulls closed the extra frame on a 12-3 run led by Aaron Brooks (game-high 31 pts) and Pau Gasol (27 pts 16 rebs) for a 104-95 win. The Sixers were led by former Wake Forest Star Ish Smith's 23 points and Murray State Racer's Isaiah Canaan's 20 points. Sixers shot 12-25 from the stripe and that was costly!

Bulls finally get to 40 wins moving to 40-26. The Sixers headed to another Draft Lottery yet again falls to 14-50.
