It doesn't get any easier than this as the San Antonio Spurs started off the last four game in the Pelicans nest of NOLA the 504 with a 100-99 loss. They went to Staples Blue and Red and beat the Clips 89-85 and on a back to back beat the Warriors in Planet Oracle 113-100. That was Monday and Tuesday as they take care of the Lakers after resting in Los Angels for two days 93-80 with some history involved.

Yes the Spurs balanced attack was led by 14 points from Corey Joseph as his lights are starting to come one. Tim Duncan led the starters with 13 points and eleven boards as he was the 19th player to surpass the 25K point plateau. He now trails the "Truth" Paul Pierce of the Wiz Kids D.C. by just 187 points for 18th. He will need another 600 plus points to get to #15 held by the great Alex English of "Organized Chaos" at McNichols Sports Arena under Coach Doug Moe.

As for the Lakers Carlos Boozer had a team-high 19 points and grabbed eight boards. The Black Mamba at a 1 fore 14 FG clip and 0-5 from El Segundo, California had just 9 points. The Lakers shot 2 for 12 from deep when will the misery end for Team 16 chips?

Spurs moving quietly and efficiently at 5-3. The Lakers falling to 1-8...smh!
