The Dallas Mavericks were right there in the 1st half leading by 50-46 at the break. The Mavs G.O.A.T. Dirk "DIRK-ilicious" Nowitzki led that 1st half attack with 15 points. Then after the break the wheels came completely off Dallas as the Blazers hit the phone booth!

Rip City used a 35-17 run in the 3rd frame to propel them to a 81-68 lead at the end of three. That lead ballooned to 107-80 late in the 4th as the Mavs by then mailed it in as an "L" coming out of the motel.

Rip City shooting 12 of 30 from the arc and 51% plus from the field took it right to the Mavs in he 2nd half. The Mavs only had seven turnovers but was -19 on the glass and -21 in points from deep. The Blazers 17 turnovers were negated by their work at the arc and on the glass.

L-Train Blazers All-Star Forward LaMarcus Aldridge led Rip City and had a game-high 20 points with seven boards. Dame Lillard added 18 points and six helpers with Wes Matthews and Chris "Kamanator" Kaman dropping in a dozen apiece.

The Mavs led by Dirk's 17 points (15 pts 1st half) just fell flat in the 2nd half. Monta Ellis added 14 points with Chandler Parsons chipping in with 11 points. Mavs fall to 3-2 while the Blazers move to 3-2.
