The Memphis Grizzlies off to a 7-1 start in the 2014-15 season have been doing it by following the lead of former Ohio State PG Mike Conley Jr.. The Grizz had the Lakers on tap tonight in the Grind House on Beale Street and it was Conley Jr. along with two Grizz reinforcements who did the Lake Show in on this night!

The Grizz lead 56-51 at the break but not not after Conley Jr. and Courtney Lee combined for 18 points. Kobe Bryant (28 points 10-26 FG) had just 9 of his game-high 28 points after the break. It was Grit and Grind Kosta Koufos (14 pts) and Beno Udrih (16 pts) who did the Lakers in as the Grizz bench outs cored the Lakers bench 38-14.

To compound matters the Laker starters outs cored Grizz starters 88-69 and still didn't hit the winner's circle. Carlos Boozer added 20 points and eight boards with Jordan Hill 13 points and fourteen boards rounding out the Lakers top performers.

Both "Grind House Bigs" Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph combined for 19 pts, eighteen rebounds, and nine assists. Gasol nearly had a low-end Triple-Double of 10-10-10. Grizz move to 7-1 and Lakers fall to 1-6.
