In a night that was NBA history for one future NBA Hall of Famer the Sacramento Kings were rolling the Dallas Mavericks in the 1st frame as they jumped out to a 32-14 lead after one. The Mavs with all that firepower gets on their horse and goes in on the Kings in the middle frame to pull out a 106-98 "W".

It was Rudy Gay's fast start (26 pts 8 rebs 8 asst) that propelled the Kings to a 32-14 lead in the first. The Mavs though used a jump start from Dirk Nowitzki as he had all of his 11 first half points in that Mavs 34-25 2nd frame run as Gay finished with 17 on the half. The Kings led 57-48 at the break.

Dallas goes on a 30-15 3rd frame run behind the exploits of one Chandler Parsons and Monta Ellis who combined in the 3rd for 19 of the Mavs 30 in the frame. The Mavs never looked back leading after three 78-72. The Kings in the 4th couldn't get closer than seven on the Mavs with Dallas restoring order for a 106-98 "W"!

DIRK-ilicious ended he night with 23 points and runs down Clutch City and Phi Slamma Jamma Star "Dream" Olajuwon on the NBA all-time scoring list for #9. Next up for the "Diggler" is the Big "E" Elvin Hayes and St. Petersburg VA HS (Trey Songz HS as well) Star Moses Malone by way of the Utah Stars, St. Louis Spirit, and the Philadelphia 76ers among others!

Both the Mavs and Kings move to 5-3...
