The Sacramento Kings made a huge leap today and if they can sustain this effort on most nights they have a chance i the west to make a leap. The Kings erased a 51-45 halftime deficit to move within four to 74-70 at the end of three behind stellar play from stars DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay. It's the quiet acquisition of former Clips guard Darren Collison that might put the Kings back in relevancy in the west!

It was Cousins netting 34 points, grabbing seventeen boards, and five helpers along with Gay's 25 points, seven boards, and six helpers that helped the Kings shock the Clippers 98-92 in Staples. The Clips who have been running on "Blake Griffin and CP3 gets a balanced attack with five players in double figures led by Blake and Spencer Hawes 17 points apiece.

Lob City had a +18 advantage from the arc but lost the rebounding battle (-11) and the free throw attempts (33-21) as the Kings were just the aggressor in this one. Collison added 14 points and four helpers vs CP3's 16 points and eleven assists but the Kings two of @boogiecousins and Rudy was better than anything the Clips had going on Sunday.

Kings move to 2-1 as do the Clips and it's early in the Pacific but the Warriors from the looks of the 1st week and a half might be the Pacific leader through November!
