The Chicago Blackhawks were cruising vs the Washington Capitals as they score their first goal at the "Madhouse on Madison" in three outings. It was Brandon Saad with a nice feed from Marian Hossa on a 2 on 1 towards the end of the 1st making it 1-0 Hawks.

The Indian Head then made it 2-0 after a Duncan Keith goal not even a minute into period one. Then the bottom fell out of the Hawks and net minder Corey Crawford. The Caps score goal one with just under five minutes to go from Andre Burkavosky making it 2-1 Hawks.

With just under a minute to go the Caps tie the game 2-2 behind Marcus Johansson goal. Just forty-two seconds after that goal the Caps with 4.2 seconds left in the 2nd "lights the lamp" again behind a Joel Ward tip-in making it 3-2 Caps at the end of two.

The Hawks out shoot the Caps in the 3rd 13-4 and out shoot the Caps 40-24 in the game but lose the game with some mental errors in the 2nd frame. Crawford stopped 21 of 24 shots with Caps net minder Brandon Holtby stopping 38 of 40 to his blue paint!

The Hawks fall to 7-6-1 with 15 pts and that is good for 4th in the central. The Caps at 5-5-3 with 13 points 6th in the Metro. The Indian Head gets Team Teal from San Jose on Sunday November 9th at 7pm ET.
