To date Machado is Top Five on the O's Roster ion all the Major Offensive Categories. The O's are getting an AL MVP-like Season from First Baseman Chris Davis but Machado is right there behind him. Taking a look at Machado's 2k13 Numbers through just 64 games:

Note: Number in Parenthesis is Orioles Ranking
.316 Avg (3rd)
5 HR (6th)
33 RBI (6th)
87 Hits (1st)
27 Doubles (1st)
41 Runs (2nd)
275 AB's (1st) At-Bats
Machado is off to a fabulous start at the ripe age of 20 and his 87 Hits are only #2 in the Show to the reigning AL Triple Crown Winner Miggy Cabrera of the Tigers. His 27 Two Baggers leads the Show. His.316 Average is 18th in the Show and he will only get better. The O's have Machado in the 2-hole and when his power numbers start to get up with age I still see him in the 2-hole.
They always talk about Trout of the Halos and Harper of the Nats but Machado should and will be in that conversation as well
for years to come.
