The Rockies powerful lineup jumped all over Nats Starter Dan Haren for five runs on eight hits and both Tyler Colvin and Car-Go took Haren deep for a 8-3 Rocks "W". That was all done in the bottom half of the fifth  inning as the Rocks erased a 2-0 deficit. Rockies Starter Jhoulys Chacin went five innings and allowed two runs on seven hits as he gets the win. The Former Cubs Outfielder Colvin wasn't done as he took Nats Relief Pitcher Drew Storen deep in the eighth inning for a two-run shot. The Nats sure do miss Bryce Harper in the middle of that lineup. The Rockies are just a game and half off the NL West lead by the D-Backs. The Nats are a week back of the NL East leading Braves.

The Cincinnati Reds opened up a slow-pitch softball game at Wrigley on Tuesday Night and what's new at the Friendly Confines beating the Cubs 12-2. Cubbies RHP Matt Garza had his worst outing maybe ever as the Reds touched him up for nine ducks off the pond on nine hits and three of those hits were via the Big Fly. Red Legs Starter Tony Cingrani went seven innings allowing just two runs on four hits for his 3rd win with no defeats. The Reds trail the Redbirds in the Central by three and a half games while the Cubbies are at the bottom some 16 games back of the Cards. Red Legs going deep...Votto, Paul, Cozart, and Frazier.

Speaking of the Redbirds of Baseball Town USA as they continue to play at a .650 plus pace ran all over the Amazins' at Citi Field by the score of 9-2. The Cards continue to get excellent starting pitching as rook RHP Michael Wacha goes six innings giving up just two runs on five hits as One was a Bomb to Mets SS Omar Quintanilla. The Cards get Bombs from Allen Craig and Shane Robinson as they put a crooked five up in the 5th inning to do the Mets in. The Mets fall to 23-36 as the Cards move to 42-22 and the best record in the Show keep it moving.
