The New Orleans Pelicans played like they have a few all-stars as they actually do in Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday. State Bird of Louisiana goes into the AT&T Center and breaks up the Spurs Family on a beautiful night on the Riverwalk!

The Pelicans leading 55-53 at the break jumped out to a 81-71 lead at the end of three. Evans, Holiday, and Davis carried the Pelicans in the 3rd scoring 20 of their 26. The Spurs not to be denied and through all sorts of NBA turbulence made a run in the 4th. The Spurs grabbed the lead with twelve seconds remaining as DG of AT&T in Spurs SG Danny Green was fouled by Eric Gordon shooting a money ball. Green sank all three moving the Spurs up 99-98.

Then All-Star Anthony Davis scored on a lay-up making it 100-99 Pelicans with 6.6 remaining. Tyreke Evans blocked Kawhi Leonard's shot and K.L. got it backed and missed ending the game with the Pelicans getting a hard-fought "W" in San Antonio!

Davis gets a team-high 27 points with REKE-havoc 18 points.. The Spurs were led by Tony Parker's game-high 28 points, Green 16 points, and K.L.'s double-double of 14 points and fourteen rebounds.
