The Los Angeles Lakers had to get to the right column the win column sooner or later and it happened. Behind 21 points apiece from Jeremy Lin and the "Black Mamba" the Lakers get four of five starters in double figures for their 1st win of 2014-15.

The Charlotte Hornets leading 51-42 at the break was following the lead of 11 points by the trio of Marvin Williams, Kemba Walker, and Big Al Jefferson. It was the Lake Show's 34-13 3rd period outburst that propelled the into the lead and a 76-64 lead at the end of three.

Charlotte got the deficit to eight points 79-71 and the Lakers took off from their again closing the game on a 28-21 run. Lakers shooting over 50% and committing just 11 turnovers. Joining Kobe and Lin in double figures was C-Booz 5 with 16 points and Jordan Hill adding a dozen.

The Hornets get 23 points from Big Al and eight boards and 17 from Kemba Walker and 14 from sharp-shooter Gary Neal. "Born Ready" had 6 points, ten boards, and five assists and he can do a lot more.
