Chicago Cubs GM Theo Epstein amped up the pressure gauges as he gets dumps Skip Rick Renteria and grabs Rays Skip Joe Maddon. There is no doubt it was a huge upgrade as Maddon inherits a big market payroll, a talented youth movement, and all that resides in the basement of the NL central along with losing season after losing season. Maddon will have his work cutout but looking at previous work the Rays and Cubs were similar when he took them over and he made the rays more than formidable in the AL East. Hope and there is always next year is getting old on the North Side as Maddon steps into the Show's Abyss...good luck Joe!

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs took a shot for all to see in last night's beat down from the Steelers. Suggs took his dislike of the Steelers to a whole new level with a cheap shot to Steelers RB Legarrette Blount. Blount ran up into the A-gap and as the pile stopped T-Sizzle came from the back side hitting Blount around the hip area just above the knees. It warranted a 15-yard personal foul penalty but if that hit is any lower we are talking Blount's knees. "Ball So Hard University" you need to tone that down and just play football your better than that!

Moving from the dermatologist the Philadelphia Eagles starting QB Nick Foles will be out at least a month after reportedly breaking his collarbone. 2nd stringer Mark "Sanchise" Sanchez played well in Foles' absence. From the looks of Sunday's "W" vs the Texans the Eagles shouldn't skip a beat as its more of the system and the parts all around the system than just the Eagles QB taking nothing away from Foles. I wonder what Jets fans are thinking as Gang Green was rumored to be looking for Chad Pennington.
