The #17th Pick of the 2013 NFL Draft Outside Backer Jarvis Jones (Twitter @SacManJones_29) has reportedly inked a 4-year deal with the Steelers. That makes seven of the Steelers nine 2013 Draftees are signed.

Jones will be asked to be ready for the 2013 season as the Steelers need to get back to their edge rushers creating havoc. Penciled in in front of Jones as we go to press is OLB Jason Worilds of Beamer Ball Blacksburg. The Steelers haven't started a Rookie in years and coming off of an 8-8 campaign they are just about open to anything that will get them back in the hunt. Jones will compete with Worilds for that spot and it will be depended on how much Jones can digest of that complex Dick LeBeau 3-4 zone blitz. Also what he looks like in pre season on Tape as you should see him with the 1st teamers a lot.

Speaking of edge rushers the Steelers need Outside Backer Lamaar Woodley to play "Big" in 2013. Wood has battled injuries the last few seasons and the Steelers have not getting the type of Red Jersey Collections they are accustomed of getting. That 3-4 zone blitz is about pressure and if the Steelers don;t get pressure the play favors the offense on almost every rip. I am not telling Steelers Nation anything new as there is a lot of work to be done.
