"SKY WATCH" Report...DELLE DONNE's Two from the Charity Stripe late give SKY victory over SILVER STARS...SKY improves to 4-1 #SKYNation #WNBA

The Chicago Sky continue to play well and play above and beyond the competition as they get by the the San Antonio Silver Stars 72-70 and split a home and home series. Again it was Rook sensation Elena Delle Donne of the Sky (game-high 23 pts) leading the way as her clutch free throws with 1.8 seconds to go in the game sealed the "W". Her partner in crime Sky Center Sylvia Fowles went Woman-Sized with a 15 point and sixteen rebound performance and there is no reason why Fowles shouldn't lead the WNBA in doubles-doubles.

The Sky had a 45-34 lead at the break but it was the Silver Stars Guard plays that got them back into the game and within striking distance. Silver Stars G Jia Perkins team leading 20 points had the Stars right there in the end as they closed the eleven point halftime deficit to five at the end of three and had it tied until Delle Donne hit the game-winning free throws. The Sky move to 4-1 in the Eats and tied with the Atlanta Dream. The Stars fall top 2-2 in the West a 1/2 game back of the West leading Lynx of the Twin Cities.

Sky will travel for a showdown a week from tonight when they get a chance to Dream vs the 2012 WNBA Champion Atlanta Dream and Star Angel McCoughtry.
