The Atlanta Braves were just about tired of being a part of the Dodgers New Phenom Yusiel Puig Show as they take the last two of three and hammer the Boys in Blue on Sunday. Behind Dan Uggla's Ugly Two Bombs the Braves hammer the Dodgers 8-1 to finish taking the last two of a four game set in Chavez Ravine. The Braves get  six innings of 1-run ball allowed from Mike Minor as he allows six hits and strikes out six. Jason Heyward and Freddie Freeman also get two base knocks each to propel the Braves out of L.A. on a good note. Speaking of the Dodgers' Puig...he went three for five and the Braves never slowed him down.

The San Francisco Giants had to send a message to the NL West leading Arizona Diamondbacks as the West still has to come through McCovey Cove and #OrangeOctober. The Giants take the last two from the D-Backs including a 6-2 "W" on Sunday.  Gigantes RHP Chad Gaudin goes six innings allowing two runs on five hits but striking out seven D-Backs. The Giants roughed up D-Back starter Tyler Skaggs for five runs and eight hits in just five innings. Both Giants Marco Scutaro and Brandon Belt took Skaggs Yard on Solo Shots. With the win the Giants are within a game and a half of the D-Backs.

The Bombers stay right on the heels of the Carmines with a 2-1 "W" including taking two out of three from the M's and getting out of town with a 2-1 victory over the M's Kid Felix. Felix didn't figure into the decision but the Yanks get a two-out single from Back stop Chris Stewart to get the 2-1 win. Yanks Middleman David Robertson gets the win but the Sandman ...Mo Rivera gets Save #23. The Yanks now are 1 1/2 games back of the Red Sox. The M's are 4th in the West and 11 games out of 1st place.
