The first three pitchers atop the junior circuit Save Board are all familiar faces then the next three are the faces in the Crowd that are trying to make a name for themselves in the Show. Four of the top Six are in the race and they will be counted heavily as we get past Summer Baseball and into September and October Ball.

Top 6 Calls to the Pen in the AL through June 14, 2013:
Note: Save/Save Opportunities...ERA in parenthesis and W-L Record

1. JOHNSON #Os 24/28 (4.05) 2-5

2. MO Rivera #BronxBombers 23/24 (1.48) 0-1

3. NATHAN #Rangers 20/21 (1.71) 1-0
    (pictured right)

4. REED #PaleHose 19/21 (3.48) 2-0

5. BALFOUR #As 17/17 (1.26) 0-0

6. WILHELMSEN #Ms 16/20 (3.77) 0-2

Jim Johnson has seen better days as he struggled mightily through May but since has come together as the O's are on the Carmines Heels for the AL East Cat Bird Seat...

Mo is Mo being Mo as he is still Cash in the Bank with only One Blown Save its just that the Yanks Starting Pitching has to get to that Pen....

Nathan is looking like the Joe Nathan of the Twin City Days as he has been dominant....the Rangers will need him as they are in a two team race with the A's in the West...

Reed came on last season for the South Siders now he is still formidable but the Sox are just not a real good team as we go to press...Defense and Hitting has went North....

Balfour is locked in as the A's Closer and they have been really hot of late as they recently just swept the Yanks in the Black Hole....No One I have a feeling wants to see the A's in Winning Time.

Wil-Dawg has been solid for the M's and after you get past Kid Felix and Iwakuma the M's are a mess...double-digits back in the West as we go to press...
