The New York Mets were riding high as they left New York after a home and home sweep of their hated rival the Bronx Bombers. Problem is that was four of 162 and the Amazins' turn around and get swept but the Florida Marlins with maybe 20K fans watching the whole series at "You have been Hoodwinked Dade County" Park.

To make matters worse they get outscored 24-7 and what did the Mets do after beating thre Bombers get on the Charter and pull a Fred Wilpon and pop the bubbly after another Ponzi Scheme. Really Mets the Fish and this isn't even good fish heck if we were out to eat and this Marlin was on the Menu everyone would pass on it. No Reyes, Hanley, nor Buehrle Marlin is on the Menu for 2K13. Mets Phenom Matt Harvey looked good vs the Pinstripes but someone tell him the Marlins is not Rookie Ball it's a real Major League Club as they jumped on Harvey on four runs behind ten hits as nothing left the premises on Harvey's Watch. The Amazins' fall to 22-32 and the Fish are a pathetic 16-41 with Dade County Tax Payers on the hook for that beautiful New House...Marlins Park.

The Oakland Athletic usually hit their stride after the mid summers classic but they are looked in early as they sweep a solid well what looked to be solid White Sox bunch. The games were all close as the A's outscored the Sox just 9-3 in the series as the Pale Hose couldn't score. The Sox get blanked by Vet Bartolo Colon 3-0 on Friday. Saturday they lose in extras 4-3. Then in the "Get Away" Game the Pale Hose get blanked again 2-0 with Ace LHP Chris Sale on the bump. He didn't get no Run Support as he pitched six innings allowing one run on four hits. A's starter Jarrod Parker allowed no runs on two hits while striking out seven in 6 1/3 innings. That is a bad week for the Pale Hose considering the cross town Cubbies took them to the outhouse earlier in the week.

Tune into the MLB Draft as it starts on Thursday June 6th on the MLB Network. A lot to cover and I pass.
