The Denver Nuggets just two weeks or so ago were holding two pressers for the 2012-13 NBA "Exec of the Year" and "Coach of the Year". That's right Nuggets had a fabulous 2012-13 run under both GM Masai Ujiri and Coach George Karl respectively. Now we have tow different pressers not even a week or so of that good Nuggets News that both are leaving the Organization in two different calls to the Nuggets Principle Office.

Ujiri who was working as Director of Player Personnel when he left the Dinosaurs (Raptors) some two and a half years ago to take the Nuggets Job had to do it as it was the next move. In Ujiri's Time with the Nuggets he orchestrated arguably the best Trade in NBA History as he sent then Nuggets Star Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks for Four Players notable Wilson Chandler and Danillo Gallanari. Then he got into the Dwight and Drew' Sweepstakes as he sent Shooting Guard Arron Affalo to the Magic and received Sixers Captain Andre Iguodala in return. All that to the tune of a 57-25 record for the 2102-13 season and the #1 Home Record in the Logo. Ujiri left to go back where it all started but he also left as he only made just under $1 Million running the Nuggets while he will get $3 Million annually running the Dinosaurs. Kroenke Ownership is notorious for paying their Exec under Market and that will comeback to haunt them losing Ujiri.

As for Karl he had one year left on his current deal and after 9 seasons the nuggets though it was time to part ways as Karl had no real success in Winning Time with the Nugs. But don't get all that twisted as they were a Playoff Team in all ten seasons under Karl (he lost 9 of 10 Series in the 1st Round) for the majority of the time and he is one of the Best Coaches in the Logo. Karl and the Nugs had parted ways as Karl was seeking an extension and the Nuggets said no of course. Now watch Karl either end with the Grizzlies or Clippers as both Teams are ready to take that next step.
