The 2013 NBA Draft is up and coming in the bottom of the month and its not a weak draft as anyone draft is never weak. This Draft is like any others and it can be characterized as there are no clear-cut favorites at the top but there are some players in every draft. You might not like certain players but who are you drafting for and what position on your respective team are you looking at to get younger or even better?

The Top Five Point Guards in the 2K13 NBA Draft...in order!

1. Michael Carter-Williams #1 #CUSE..the Bluedude saw him at the 2011 Big Mac Game and he was athletic and rangy and another product from "North of the Border". The ironic thing about Carter-Williams is that his freshman year he couldn't even get off the bench due to then Starting 'Cuse Guards Scoop Jardine and 2012 Lottery Pick Dion Waiters. Waiters did well his Rook Campaign in the Logo and Scoop use to date Air Jordan's Daughter Jazmine. Carter-Williams is electric and his Court-Awareness is off the charts let alone his size. Reminds me of a little of NOLA Pelicans Point God Greivis Vasquez. If you look at the first twelve picks Cater-Williams doesn't fit but in Big D for Mar Cuban and the Mavs...straight Imperial Margine!

2. Shane Larkin #0 #CANES...he is a true Point that can Shoot from distance and he is Bloodline from another sport. Dad is 2012 MLB HOF Barry Larkin of the Red Legs and Maize and Blue. Larkin's 40 plus "Takin' the Elevator" (Vertical) at the 2013 NBA Combine blew me and vaulted him up on my board ahead of Trey Burke of Michigan. He reminds me of of a bigger Tyrone"Mugsy" Bogues of the Original Hive Drive by way of the ACC's Demon Deacons and that Baltimore Dunbar HS Mighty Men 1982 Team with with Wingate, Reggie Williams, and Reggie Lewis. He also is a much more explosive "Everybody loves Raymond (Felton) of New MSG" of the Knicks. Larkin could be a fit for the Hometown Orlando Magic at #2 but that might be too high. More like on the back end of the Lottery with the Jazz or Bucks. (Bucks shipping Monta and Brandon...or Both Summer 2K13 or during the Draft...stay tuned)

3. C.J. McCollum #MountainHAWKS...NYC Built and Mid-Major Dominant as McCollum is all of that at 6'3" and just under 200 elk bees has that NBA Combo-Size. He can Slash and get to the Rim, Shoot it from Deep, deft Mid-Range and reminds the Bluedude of current Thunder Guard Reggie Jackson of Chestnut Hill Lore Golden Eagles. Sneaky athletic with a Tool Box much bigger than you would think. A surefire Lottery and what about the Magic at #2 and move Mo Harkless at the Two and Tobias Harris the Three. Magic reportedly have their eyes on Ben McLemore...boys think twice!

4. Trey Burke #MaizeAndBlue...We know this he can carry a Team, run a deft Pick and Roll, keeps teammates involved, and is a Shot-Maker Money-Maker. Burke is certified and verified and he is another like Larkin a true Point in that CP3 mode...not Legendary but has some CP3-esque in his Tool Box. Where would he go in the 1st round with everyone having Points. Larkin, McCollum, and Burke will be watching where each other go to determine where they may go.

5. Dennis Schroeder #Germany...he moved the crowd at the 2012 Nike Hoop Summit and he has some John Wall in him as well some Tony Parker. At 6'2" but under 170 el bees needs to get stronger but I could see Schroeder lasting all the way to the end of the 1st round an going to none other than Pops and the World Championship Spurs. The next TP9 perhaps as they have plenty of time to develop Schroeder.
