When you think of the Steel City on them Three Rivers you think of Hard-Working Blue Collar and no one but me knows the 'Burgh Kind of Attitude.

Then from a Sports Perspective you think Football in the Whole State of Pennsylvania and then for the 'Burgh you think Steelers, Pens, Buccos, Pitt Panthers, Duquesne, Three Rivers Stadium, the Civic Arena aka the Igloo, and the Terrible Towel.

The Journey now takes us to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio where the Steelers among Others get another one in the Hall. but this Class is a little different since 4 of the 6 have Ties to the 'Burgh.

Introducing RB Curtis martin (University of Pittsburgh and 'Burgh Born and Raised), Chris Doleman (University of Pittsburgh), Jack Butler (Pittsburgh Steelers Senior Committee Selection), and Dermontti Dawson (Center for the Pittsburgh Steelers 1988-2000).  And yes Steelers nation took over but we always take over and the Hall adds not only Dawson but those Other 3 Players with 'Burgh Ties which puts the 'Burgh as one of those Special Places on Google Earth when it comes to that Pigskin. DT Cortez Kennedy Seattle Seahawks) joins those 4 along with Rustin, Louisiana's  and LA Tech Alum and Who Dat? Great Willie Roaf.

RB C-Martin Jets/Pats: After hearing another Man's Speech so intent on driving Home how important his Mother was...I was Speechless. As far as Martin the Football Player if you ever look up No Frills Straight-Ahead Runner on Sunday martin was the Epitome of that. 10 Straight Seasons of  1K Yards with Gotham City Green and the Pats. A better man than Football Player and he was one helluva Sunday RB. A Total of 14,101 Yards...4th on the Sunday All-Tie Rushing List.

CB J. Butler Steelers: Don't know much on Butler but I will say this he was a Steeler under Art Rooney Sr...any Questions, Comments, or Concerns.

C. Doleman Vikes/49ERS: He was a Dominant Linebacker at Pitt not too far behind the Great Pitt DE/OLB Hugh Green. Doleman was turned into a DE on Sunday and continued his Relentless Pursuit of Perfection of getting to the Signal Caller...sorry Lexus. Some 150.5 QB Kills later he finds himself in Canton and you can say what you want but 150.5 of those bad Boys is Tale Tell Sign that Doleman dominated.

W. Roaf Saints/Chiefs: He was all that coming out of Louisiana Tech University. A Former Co-Worker from my Days in the Logo and one of my Best Friends Today went to School at Grambling when Roaf was Tech and said Big Will use to come over and dominate Pick Up games at Grambling on the Hardwood. And in case you didn't know some of the Beast O-Lineman have Excellent Feet and move rather Fluid and it comes from a Basketball Background. Big Will dominated the O-Line with 11 Pro-Bowls in 13 Seasons.

Cortez Kennedy Seahawks: The Prototype Big DT Run Stopper and for a Huge Man could get to the QB. He was Part of the Next in Line in Coral Gables along with the late Great Jerome Brown Bird Gang and Warren Sapp of the Pirate Ship. Kennedy was one of the Greatest Seahawks ever and Some 668 Tackles and 58 QB Kills to go along with 8 Pro Bowls....Yeah

Dermontti Dawson Steelers: Under the Watchful Eye of his Teacher the late Great Mike Webster (Steelers '95 HOF Center Inductee)...Dawson did not disappoint himself or the late #52 as he more than carried the torch as the Steelers next Great Center. It was D2 Durability on Sunday....playing in a 181 of a possible 184 games..and in the trenches speaks Volumes. A 7-Time Pro Bowl and a 6-Time All-Pro Dawson was dominant. The New Next in Line has a Long Way to go but has a Chance in the Black and Yellow...Twin #53...Maurkice Pouncey...I Said a Chance because ##63 and #52 were OFF the CHARTS on Sunday.

Another Great Class and they are ALL GREAT and you want to know why...the Sacrifice and Hard-Work the Men in Canton have to go through to get their BUST MADE is Priceless.

Throw your Terrible Towel Up and to the City of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh...Real Men wear 'BURGH
