The News just keep getting worse in the DMV as the Orioles and Nats head to the Bass Pro Shop Together on the Same Night. The Nats blow a 2 Run lead in the 9th to lose as the 2012 Fall Classic Champs go 007...Tomorrow Never Dies.

Crooked Numbers were all over the Board through out this Banger on the Potomac and the Nats with their NATitude go down in the Top Half of the 9th in stunning fashion. The Redbirds get 4 in the Top Half of the 9th and send the Nats packing behind Two 2-Run Singles and this is not good.

The Redbirds and Nats combine to put up 16 Runs on 22 Hits and stunningly enough the Redbirds still left 25 Duck on the Pond and the Nats 11.  Having been there before helps the Redbirds stay focused as they never thought they were out of it. Could things have been different for the Nats you know where that's going. But whose to say they will get back to an NLDS let alone and NLCS and a World Series.

That Crooked #4 the Redbirds hung up on the Nats in the 9th goes back to that Weakest Part of the Nats...their Bullpen. The Redbirds Pen weren't exactly mowing Nats down either. Now the Cards get the SF Gigantes in the NLCS and both have an abundance of Quality Starting Arms.

October 12, 2012...the Day the DMV lost both of their Hardball Teams in the Playoffs...and the Redbirds say don't give us that NATitude.
