The Biggest Game of the Series in Hindsight obviously was Game 5 in the Lou when the Redbirds had the Gigantes on the Proverbial Ropes to clinch and they didn't do it. Something told me coming back West wasn't in the CARDS for the REDBIRDS.

The San Francisco Giants advance to their 2nd World Series in 3 Seasons by beating the St Louis Cardinals 9-0 and there was no mistake about this 7th Game. The Giants scored 1 in the 1st Two Frames and then the Crooked #5 in the 3rd Frame to Ice the Game and the Series. Redbirds Starter Kyle Lohse was shelled in only 2 Innings he gave up 5 Runs on 6 Hits. Joe Kelly relieved him and in 2/3 of the 3rd Inning got roughed up for Two Runs as well.

Giants Starter Matt Cain kept it simple and went 5 and 2/3 striking out 4 and walking 1. Giants 2nd Baseman Marco Scutaro (pictured Left) was named 2012 NLCS MVP as he went 11 foe 24 at a .458 Avg, scored 5 Runs, and Knocked in 4 Runs. Yadier Molina the Redbirds Back Stop went 4 for 4 in Game 7.

Now the Giants win the 2012 NL Pennant and will face the 2012 AL Pennant Winners..the Detroit Tigers. The 2012 Fall Classic starts in San Fran on October 24, 2012.
