The Yankees I think could see the writing on the Wall sort of speak as you just can't keep going to the Well time and time again getting 9th Inning to Late Inning Heroics and the Real Post Season Yanks showed up in the 2012 ALCS.

Not making any Excuses for teh Bombers but they just didn't bring any Maple, Ash, or Bamboo to the ALCS and the Tigers will move onto the 2012 Fall Classic behind a convincing performance in Comerica on Thursday Night. Tigers Starter RHP Max Scherzer went 5 and 2/3 allowing 1 Run, 2 Free Passes, and sending 10 Bronx Bombers to the Bench thinking about I might need a Lighter Stick to get to that Grade A Stuff.

On the Other Hand there was No Lumber Company in the Motor City bigger than the Comerica Lumber and Associates on this Day as they jumped all over the Yanks Ace C.C. Sabathia chasing him after 3 and 2/3 Innings. Sabathia allowed 11 Hits, 2 Free Passes, and 6 to Cross the Dish with 2 via the Big Fly. Sabathia's Outing was a Microcosm of what the Bronx Bombers were running on the Whole Playoffs and that is Winning Time Fumes. That Yanks Tank if it wasn't empty that Gas Light has been on for quite some time.

The Tigers Offense pounded out 16 Hits on 42 At Bats which is 15 over the Minimum. The Bronx Bombers were a combined 2 for 30 with 12 Strike Outs. Forget Murder's Row this Post Season will be remembered as the Yanks Equipment Manager forgot to bring the Good Wood in October 2012. "When the Yanks Hitting Tree runneth' Empty" shall we say in the Bluedude's BlueDarian Voice not Shakesperian.

Now the Tigers will await the Winner of the NLCS as the Redbirds lead 2-1 with Game 4 Tonight in Baseball Town USA.

Congrats to Skip Jimmy Leyland, the Tigers Clubhouse, and GM/Team Prez/CEO Dave Dombrowski. Wow! who took a Page right out of Pat Riley's Book of Organizational Titles and I wonder if Dombrowski will also do what Riles did give himself an Extension. Saying, " Self we did Excellent this Season...Pay Myself".

Note: Tigers did all that Damage without Catcher Victor Martinez...Yikes!
